To build a network of producers and consumers, to facilitate the marketing of organic produce.
To establish, manage and run a Seed Co-operative for a continuous supply of quality seeds. Facilitate sharing of other organic inputs like compost, bio-pesticides, growth promoters and other inputs required by farmers.
To initiate micro-watershed program incorporating different aspects of water harvesting like contour bunding, percolation pits, recharge pits, farm ponds, percolation ponds and check dams for conserving rain water. Prevent soil erosion by multi tier cropping and afforestation programs. Provide improved composting techniques for production of organic compost.
To actively promote planting of trees around ponds, dams and common lands and to encourage planting of local species in depleted forest and arid lands.
To establish SHGs to bring farmers on a common platform to address issues and concerns, and avail assistance from financial and research institutions.
To educate the public about the harmful effects of chemical based agriculture on their health and environment. To document research practices which optimize yield and reduce cost of production and doc. Publish and disseminate these reports and research studies.
